It's a great compact frame. Equally as balanced as the P226 IMO, but in my medium sized hands a better fit. Well made and equally stood behind by the manufacturer.

A friend is coming by this afternoon with his new Sig P229 for me to make him a holster for it. He showed it to me yesterday as it was a Christmas gift from his father. Now that he has some ammo for it we are going to go out back and give it a workout. 
I had overlooked the P229 while at the LGS several times but this one feels good in my hand, I mean real good. It might just be time to ask for forgiveness again from the wife.
