In oregon you're only allowed one deer, and one elk a year. You can choose rifle, bow, or traditional muzzleloader.
But in some states you can get 3 deer!
Well Oregon deer aren't exactly trophies unless you manage to get 20 preference points and go to a trophy unit.

Do you think one deer and one elk is enough for the blue colar man all year?

It is not a matter of is it enough, it is what level of hunting will sustain the herds. You wont be getting any deer or elk if they are over harvested and there are none. Your other option is to move to a state where there are larger herds or hunt out of state.
