I ordered my PSA rifle kit today. Now for the waiting game....
Congrats. How about some details for the members here that aren't as into the packaging?
Let us know what you think when you get it in.

I added MOE handguards in black and front and rear MBUS. Came with A2 flash hider. Total was 629.95. I was going to get the hammer forged model but i decided that with the amount i shoot the extra $90 was better spent towards eotech
Nice. That looks like it will be a good performer for you. Looking forward to reading your inspection and range reports.
Yep, the waiting begins....
I did a 6.8 SPC build last year, and the upper from ARP took a couple of months to ship.
I've never been so glad to see Big Brown pull up in my driveway with a long box!
It took mine 14 days to ship and that was when they just started the free shipping. You will be happy with this upper.
I bought a upper and they had it shipped 7 days after the order. With in 14 days it was delivered. +1 for PSA!
Anyone use a BCM charging handle? What are the benefits of it compared to standard and what are the benefits of the different sizes?
I have the large mod on a PSA upper. With the standard charging handle, I had to lower the rifle, get a finger of my right hand on each side of the handle, and pull back. With the Gunfighter, I keep the rifle up at my shoulder, reach back with 1 finger on my left hand, and pull back. To me it feels faster and easier than the stock handle.
I have a PSA upper with BCM Gunfighter Mod4 and BCM Bolt Carrier Group M16 Auto. Just good Quality Parts. I figure ,buy once and forget about it. It will not let me down when I need it the most.
I'm hoping to get a 300 BLK upper from PSA as soon as my payment posts to my credit card. It will be minus the charging handle and BCG. I just need to pick the hand guard. I was thinking YHM mid length.
The FN barrels sold me on PSA and they still have the 300 barrels in stock.
In addition to the convenience mentioned by buffalolake, optics can tend to interfere with your ability to acquire the charging handle, particularly if you're wearing gloves. As far as size goes, that's all personal preference.
On business day 10 waiting for the kit to ship.....
I ordered a complete PSA pencil barreled upper and a CMMG .22LR upper from PSA last week. The PSA had to be built (obviously) but the CMMG said it was in-stock. Two days later I get an email saying that the CMMG was not in stock after all and they will let me know when their distributor finds some more. I was not pleased at all and still have not heard a word from them. So now I have to wait for both the PSA upper and the CMMG upper.
I ordered my 300 BLK upper from PSA last thursday. It arrived today, 8 days later. That is fast considering PSA said they had a 15 day minimum for custom builds. I ordered mine with a free floating YHM hand guard.
It arrived so fast that I dont even have any ammo for it!
The last one I ordered was a PSA 14.7 middy and it took exactly 14 days but well worth the wait .that was just shy of 3 weeks ago
I ordered on the last day of free shipping
Just ordered my Spike's punisher lower last night. Still no shipment of the rifle kit tho.
I got a chance to take my PSA out to the range. I had limited ammo but shot some 125 gr and 220 gr factory loads through it. Both cycled fine and locked the bolt back.
I just started hand loading but got a case stuck in the die so it came to a halt. My first loads had flat primers so I need to back off a bit.
