Operator??

    i keep hearing and seeing the term operator used in conjunction with special forces types. exactly where does that come from?? when i hear that being used i always think of:

    An operator is a BADASS muther effer. That will kill you with one look.

    An operator is so badass they scare Chuck Norris..... :eek:

    We do have one on the board you know that right? A true to life super ultra secrete if I tell you have to kill you kind of operator.

    If this has anything to do with the retail security firearms thread, that term comes from a LEGEND in mall security.

    spec ops = special operations

    only makes sense if someone who preforms special operations would be called operators

    i guess that makes a little sense. always wondered where it came from. i still think of lilly tomlin with a mp5sd in camo with a bandana around one upper arm a cig in the corner of her mouth saying "one ringy dingy ya muslim bastiges..."
