I started this thread in the DIY section, but not sure if anyone has seen it.

I was wondering if anyone has used, or knows anything about Cerakote?

I want to put it on the barrel of my sigma.

The barrel is starrting to show some wear, and I was wanting to put something on it that looked good but is also strong.

Is there something better to use? I just want my sigma to look a little better. Kind of like when a woman uses cover-up. Lol

Better is all in eye of beholder. To me there really isn't any better than duracoat for what I think your wanting done.

Yea, I'm wanting something to cover up the "scares", and is tuff enough to withstand extensive use.

Sorry for all the questions. I've herd that Duracoat is just 2-tone industrial paint. Is that true?

One more Q and then ill get out of you're hair.

Do you think the industrial 2-tone is ok to use, or do you suggest to just get Duracote?

Like I said questions are fine. Get one solid color if you can. If any GOFFA member has smithin questions they just need to hit me or Frantz up. I have more experience though.
