Hot Off The Press…….. 15 Days Ago A Local Found This Ancient Muzzleloader Stuffed In A Hollow Tree Along The Yellowstone River Near Glendive. It Is Approx. 160 Years Old. .58 Cal. From Time Period Of 1847 To 1853. In Fantastic Condition, Probably Due To Being Covered With Bear Or Buffalo Grease And Stuffed In A Hollow Log! Wow!

In another hundred years someone will find all my guns at the bottom of Lake Travis as they went overboard last weekend. They were well oiled so they should still be identifiable as firearms.

I foresee a rash of boating accidents in the near future.

It's a British Tower Enfield model 53 in .577 caliber. Here's another just like it dated 1861(second from top). Top is a repro of same.

Funny- I had a similar boating accident, lost ALL my guns. If I recall, it was Wednesday. Next week.:rolleyes:
