older colt

    Tryin to get some sort of an idea of the year made and value of my lw colt in 9mm everyone i seem to ask never has any info and google searchs come up short im doin as much research as i can before going through colt themselvs all help is appreciated

    Thats with the hogue grips i have the originals also

    Based on the pic alone...min $750 retail. Add $75-100 for original grips. Add another $1-150 for box etc if vintage

    It's a pre-70 Series Commander. (Alloy Receiver)

    This model was built from 1950 to 1969. Your gun was built in 1952.

    Looks a little rough but could just be the pictures. I think Wild is close to what it's retail price would be.

    If its to be a collectible, leave it as-is.

    If its to be an heirloom shooter, do what you want.

    Pre-70's are a desirable gun.
