To amend section 109.52 and to enact sections 109.5731 and 2923.171 of the Revised Code to prohibit a person from knowingly acquiring, possessing, carrying, or using an assault weapon and to require the Attorney General to prepare for the establishment of a firearm and ammunition transactions database.

The same way the Kenion and his minions snuck into positions of power, lawmakers of both parties have crept in, that may look like sheep, but inside, at the proper time, they all vote against us, voting as wolves.

That will turn law abiding citizens into a class five fellon.

My fear is I live long enough to see them steal everything.

It's not really surprising that Ohio would look to ban or in some way inhibit any type of gun possession. I've never known them to be very gun friendly. I mean, open carry has been legal a while but the are not too friendly to those that did it.

I'm pretty sure this will be brought to the table in quite a few states. We must call, email and write the politicians and let them know where we stand and where they stand if they push this anti-Constitutional legislation. Large demonstrations are necessary and we must feed the pro gun organizations. There are pro 2A groups in most states, support them.

Having been born and raised in OH, I can tell you that I am VERY surprised! Considering I moved to MI, Ohio is (was?) very gun friendly! Open Carry might get you stink eye, but Franklin county sheriffs office has a 24hr (or less) turn around for cpl applications. There is an entire department and office for Franklin county sheriffs that its all they do! That would include the state capital as well of course.

I miss Ohios gun laws...MI sucks by and large. The ironic part is that MI isnt pushing anything new yet while Ohio is...go figure.

The sad thing is these liberal morons do not care about the Constitution of the United States and our God given Second Amendment Rights. Bottom line very few will comply and they will be turning good honest citizens into criminals. I like the rope idea myself!;) They should lead the way to the front door when they attempt to "COME TO GET EM!"

A few million New York State people also figured that new law would not pass as well.

If we sit on the couch and just veg, and do nothing, we lose. We got to do something before every state ends up like WW II Germany and all guns are outlawed.
Here in NY the pusillanimous politicians, both democrat and republican, passed the gun ban in the dead of night within 20 minutes. Most people didn't know a vote was being conducted. I believed it was coming a week later. They kept everyone in the dark and like the sneaky slithering reptiles that they are they stabbed New Yorkers in their backs, literally. Today they don't even have the courage to speak out in public, or even show their faces. I have no idea where the freak they are.

Those bums and bumettes were too cowardly to have public hearings where a constitutional amendment was going to be illegally butchered and it's citizens may one day lose their lives, because they've been stripped of their property, which is their rightfully owned weapons. New Yorkers didn't even have a chance.

Ohio, as well as other states had better watch out. Our weapons were banned to some extent by a former republican governor named Pataki in 2000, but the pain was eased a little by allowing pre '94 federally banned weapons and mags to be grandfathered in. Governor Cuomo said he'll have none of that today. That ban should have been fought back then.

Having Kasich as governor means squat. The republicans are just as dangerous as the democrats. The powers to be think that the people here in NY will comply with registration of their so called aw's, but too many big mouthed politicians telegraphed their punch by saying they want to eventually confiscate. Confiscation has been taking place for quite a while and some people don't realize it. NYC is the perfect example, but there are too many dummies walking around with their heads stuck up their butts and not receiving enough oxygen to their brains. My friend had a legally registered pen gun confiscated while renewing his pistol license. He was just told that the State decided that they were now illegal and that was that. He had an out of state residence where it was legal, but wasn't even allowed to send it there. Of course they couldn't wait to destroy it after he only had it for almost 20 years without incident. That happened 1 1/2 years ago in Nassau County Long Island and not NYC.

Fox News is the only cable news I would ever watch, but they're going through a change that's been turning me off as well. They've been hiring far too many leftists like Arthel Neville, who happens to be singer Aaron Neville's niece. She really pissed me off with her anti gun attitude today. She should know better since she's from New Orleans where people's guns were confiscated during Hurricane Katrina. Now she really has sh^t for brains.

They even brought on board a big liberal loser, the ex Mass. RINO senator Scott Brown, who was never there to back republicans. Geraldo is anti gun, though when they were opening Al Capone's vault he did shoot at a row of whiskey bottles on live TV with a full auto Thompson and with a grin larger than his mustache. Now he's entering NJ politics and hosts the new Fox Spanish speaking station. He never knew an illegal he didn't like. He's a bum! He's a real genius that the citizens of Jersey should vote for. I remember him on his knees drawing a map in the dirt showing our troop positions during Operation Desert Storm. Gen. Norman Schwartzkopf kicked his rear end out of the military theatre. Fox now sucks.

What do you expect from a state that went for Obama! Hope all who voted for him are happy with their selection.

I would expect a lib state like NY or NJ voting for Obama. What the hell is wrong with Vermont with Bernie their card carrying socialist representing them. That's a great gun state, as well as New Hampshire, but with their taste in politics they'll be catching up to NY and Kolifornia soon. I know Mass. has a big influence on them.
