Maybe Rev. Wright WAS right...
http://rt.com/usa/news/texas-1000-us-government-906/We need to find out how they did it.
No...the DOJ just summarily said, based on loose standards, that they can kill American citizens.i heard this morning that the law passed that allows drones to be used against US civilians
Hear hear!!!Americans are afforded the right of due process under the Constitution, traitor or not. Small shortcuts lead to big shortcuts.
And the solution is to blow him and his 16 year old son up? So from now on, anyone who does things you deem not protected under the First Amendment, we will just rock their ****.The 1A guarantees free speech. but not the right to shout "fire" in a crowded theatre.
I do not believe that the constitutional protection of citizens does, or should, extend to those who have:
Renounced their allegiance to this country,
Attempted to influence other citizen to renounce their allegiance
Traveled to a foreign country, and taken up arms against this country.
Attempted to defame and denigrate this country to foreigners
There are, and rightfully should be limits to everything.
I keep telling people, government is to bad, what fire is to hot. That's a good point Locutus. But we're talking about the Imperial Presidency, a "Justice" Dept. that runs guns to drug dealers, a Supreme Court that not only doesn't defend the Constitution, but makes law and a government that not only no longer answers to the People, but that holds it in contempt. I find myself no longer able to ascribe good motives to any government entity.
There is a youtube video of some bird hunters shooting one piloted by some animal rights group.Anyone know how these things reach to 00 Buck?
Assuming it was low enough of course.
Tack
Video looks fake to me. Camera doesnt follow it when it goes off screen. They (Government) says no armed drones flying within United States borders. Do you really trust them at their word.
I posted this last year and found the youtube video. This was prior to the NATO Sumit in Chicago. Comments is that the video was filmed in Eglin, IL about 40 miles from Chicago.
No armed drones - Yeah Right!

No...but I think the better question is do we dare trust them NOT to put weapons on them eventually? I know my own answer...but some people trust the government more than others. Can anyone provide ANY EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that any drone used inside this country was armed????
Inquiring minds want to know.![]()
So, your ok with firearms registration? You cant argue that it will lead to confiscation based on your above words. Nor could you argue privacy violation based on your acceptance of drones monitoring American Citizens. If we allow unarmed drones to be used for public service/safety, then sooner or later "they" will arm them.
And if we allow ordinary citizens to own "assault weapons" sooner or later "they" will shoot up an elementary school.
C'mon gize! We've been victims of this mindless paranioa from the left, let's not stoop to doing it ourselves.
I guess I just fail to see how one is more ridiculous than the other (not that I think either is).NO, I do not support registration. Never have, never will. The sarcasm was meant to highlight how ridiculous this paranoia about drones is.
I don't trust the government, but I'm not completely paranoid.
You need to chill, dude!![]()
BLAM! Spot on sir! This has been an excellent discussion and I'm glad we're having it.
I neither cringe in fear nor am I paranoid. I am distrustful of our government. I am distrustful of their motives and their methods. There are scores of circumstances where we have been lied to, ignored and victimized by it.
Is there anyone here who can say that our civil liberties have not been curtailed by an overarching government? I'm talking in general, not just about the Second Amendment.
The EPA is killing entire industries. The IRS is killing small business and the common man. The FDA controls what medication can be marketed. Obamacare? Please....
One of my favorite government obfuscations is the phrase; "common sense gun laws". Who gets to decide that? Apparently the citizens don't.
This might be a good time to review the Declaration of Independence. See if it's relevant to today.

Doesnt make much sense does it?Problem is the Liberals ran on a platform to do away with Bush's water board torture. Obama does not use the water board. The Liberals now just select and kill a subject as well as anyone who happens to be near by!!
A recent Poll shows more people would rather be water boarded than Droned. No Sh#t.
