There is a group in Nashville that has petition the mayors office to take back the NRA invitation to hold the 2015 convention, all because of the events that happened in Ct. The petition states that Nashville should not welcome what they call "Blood Money".
The mayors office has not responded.
The stupidity of people never seases to emaze me!!

Here's how it works in their minds:

Take one seriously screwed up, enraged nut case + Guns he stole from his mother + Knee jerk, overly emotional reactions from the left = NRA's fault. Makes perfect sense doesn't it.

Lets blame the PTA. I mean schools obviously encourage these shootings by allowing large amounts of people to congregate.

Mosin, that makes as much sense as blaming the NRA. I think you're onto something.

Yep. And a big plus is that they are required by law to be unarmed, defensless victims.

We should get a few thousand gun owners to show up at a car plant.

UAW BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS!!!!

Well hold up signs of car crashes,

When the media shows up we demand banning cars.

We throw red paint at them.

We scream and tell and cry.

But we never let on that we're gun owners.

That would be great if it would work. But there'd be one or more idiots who'd show up, make an issue of the guns and spoil the whole event.
