I found this on another forum and got a good chuckle about it.
It's for shooting anybody who's sneaking up behind you.
Those catalogs are collectors items nowadays...HK wanted them back ASAP...
Made me chuckle.
H&K paid a high priced Add agency in NY to do an Add campaign for them when they rolled out the P2000 and whoever in the Add agency that was suppose to quality control the graphics did a really piss poor job of it. H&K paid a huge amount of money to try and recover all the brochures, posters and other Add stuff with that picture on it. Oh, they originally paid the Add company 3 mil for the campaign.
I missed it until I read CA's comment.
Damn I can't believe H&K missed it.
3 mil huh? I think they got hosed.
Wow, hope they got a full refund.
Their first mistake...hiring an ad company based in NY
....I bet someone got fired for this and probably a major refund (if not more due to "damages").
alright....I read CA's comment and I'm still somehow missing it....what's the problem with the cover?
The ammo is backwards in the mag.
Thanks for the history on it, one thing I always wondered was, did whom ever loaded the mag do that on purpose or were they really that stupid?
I would almost bet it was some anti gun person on the ad team and they thought they could get away with it.
Never, never underestimate the "stupid factor" in the general population!
That is funny. I would think if you are placing that on the cover the individual doing the drawing would know firearms. Thanks for sharing and a good laugh!
Alrighttt hahaha, I considered that as being one of the possibilities, but I dont have a handgun of my own and I've never shot one...so to me at first glance it looked fine
