So I finally sold my sigma 9mm and decided saved to pay off the balance n buy a full size M&P range n carry kit... What an up grade ! My first m&p. I remember when I was looking around for my first with my father b4 he passed way. We where looking at alot of difference gun and all the ones I like and as a kid loved were pretty pricy for me at the time. As a kid growing up I never realize how much extra hrs at work he had to put in the have some of the nice gun I had the privilege to shoot growing up with him. He told me "you gotta start somewhere boy. Buy some you can afford, practice then get use to owning a firearm. then when your financially ready you can aways sell this one and what you really want and love." Well that was back in 2009. a few months after that day he passed and went home to be with the lord. Took me 4yrs but this weekend which would have been his birthday. I DID IT!

Great choice, next you'll need the M&P 22 so you can afford to shoot all day. Even the nine get pricey after a good afternoon at the range. Same grip angle and sites.

Nothing like father and son memories. You should love your m&p. I love my m&p9 and it might be my favorite gun in my collection right now. As far as accuracy, capacity, reliability, ergonomics and looks its hard to beat a m&p
