For those of you trying to build lightweight ARs, I received a shipment of Noveske NSR Rails last week and these rails are LIIIIIIIIIIGHT! Rail sections can be ordered on Noveske's website right now, but I should be getting my supply very shortly. QD mounts will also be available very shortly...being anodized right now.

How light? What's the weight on each?

7" NSR weighs 4.4 oz (rail only)
9" NSR weighs 5.6 oz (rail only)
11" NSR weighs 6.7 oz (rail only)
13.5" NSR weighs 7.9 oz (rail only)

The barrel nut and mounting screws weigh a total of 3.5 oz

That is fairly light. Have you weighed them or are those factory numbers?

Nice looking rails. I have not gotten to that point in my build. But nice. I am STILL undecided on what barrel and caliber I want.

I personally weighed these rails and they actually match the factory numbers. The only difference is I also weighed the 6 mounting screws in addition to the barrel nut, whereas Noveske only gives the barrel nut weight.
