So its illegal to have unregistered ammunition (a consumable), and just to own the dogs?

Don't get me wrong, the only pits I've ever met have been the sweetest dogs ever. I just have no use for them, meaning, really, I'm not a suitable owner for one.

He should not face charges, in alot of states this is called a "temporary deputy" or something to that effect, where basically you are permitted to do anything within your means to save someone even if it breaks laws.

Good on the man for shooting the dog. Shame on the political criminals who run the District of Columbia.
