Which Thompson do you think is better looking?
or the M1928?
I gotta go with the 1928.
It has a better finish, better sights and uses drums or stick mags.
But they both rock.
The M1A1, it's the one I was assigned.
Well, if you are John Dillinger.... the M1928
If you are Vic Morrow.... the M1A1
just depends on if your into gangster from the 30's or ww2 nostalgia.
M1A1 for sure. Sargeant Saunders - Combat!
I WILL have one!
Better looking? 1928 hands down. The one we have (that I have shot numerous times) is a 21-28 overstamp Navy model. Beautiful firearm. American engineering at its best.
Indeed. Hell I wish I had them both.
I wish I had either!
Get both, test-drive them, and i'll take care of the reject for you.
The 1928 has the better eye appeal, but I would take either.
and here is the 1928A1 simplicity of the M1 with the capacity of the earlier model. plus I presonally like the horizontal foregrip!
agreed,1928-a1 far better. best of both worlds.
By the way, that's what Saunders used.
