    I gotta go with the 1928.

    It has a better finish, better sights and uses drums or stick mags.

    But they both rock.

    Better looking? 1928 hands down. The one we have (that I have shot numerous times) is a 21-28 overstamp Navy model. Beautiful firearm. American engineering at its best.

    The 1928 has the better eye appeal, but I would take either.

    and here is the 1928A1 simplicity of the M1 with the capacity of the earlier model. plus I presonally like the horizontal foregrip!:D

    agreed,1928-a1 far better. best of both worlds.
    By the way, that's what Saunders used.
