    Hello all.

I was going to post a link to a good deal on a range bag, but wasn't sure if that was allowed. I am not affiliated to it in any way. I did buy one though. :D

If someone could confirm one way or the other if that type of post is allowed I would appreciate it. If allowed, I'll post the link.

    Thanks!

Are you a vendor? Hook up with a moderator. If not, just don't post it in a way where it seems you are pushing to sell something or post a link to some stupid escort site. As long as you word it in a way that keeps you from violating forum rules, go ahead. I'd just post: hey, I found a really awesome range bag online today! Check it out! If you catch my drift

I believe you can post a picture of a product you find useful and a good buy. I'd like to see it. I have a range bag but it is now too small for my two guns and the ammo I carry to the range.

Okay guys. I'll post it. Mods, feel free to delete if it doesn't follow the rules.

Midway has their "Competition Range Bag" on sale for $39.99. (Normally $79.99) Shipping is high ($14.99 for me), but it's a big box and it arrived pretty quickly. I did a lot of research on the interwebz and this bag has a lot of positive reviews. It should have PLENTY of room for your needs.

Here are some pics of mine.

As it arrived. My Glock 22 shown so you can get an idea of the size.

Inside of the bag with smaller bag in the center and the 2 pistol pouches on each side.

Center bag. It has what I believe is the bag for spent brass. It also has 2 side areas that are velcro adjustable. Also a couple of mag holders on each end.

The 2 side pistol pouches along with the center bag. Glock in the bottom to show scale.

    Side one. Mag holders.

Side two. 2 general storage pouches.

One end has a storage pouch along with a water bottle holder. The other end just has a larger storage pouch. (no need for a pic of that.) The shoulder strap looks pretty nice and I like the quick connects on each end.

That's a great bag. I have one myself in OD green. The price is a steal. I don't think there is a better bag out there regardless of price. And Midway always seems to have it on sale. I would never buy it at full price (nor have I ever seen it full price before).

They do have a smaller size bag for a little cheaper if folks would rather not have a bigger bag.

I've been using the same range bag for about a year now. It's very durable and holds more than I realized. Can't beat the price either.

Now, that is a nice bag. I am going to look that one up and fit it into my range program.

They sell a smaller one that I think is just right. It has plenty of room for a couple of pistols, holsters, a few hundred rounds of ammo, a timer, ear muffs, glasses, mag's, cleaning gear, etc. etc. I have a couple and usually stock one for 9 mm's and another for 45's.

Midway is high on shipping, though. I wish they would work on that -- otherwise they have always been 4.0 to deal with in my experiences.

That is a really slick looking range bag, wish I would've seen it before I bought my Under Armour bag a couple years ago. Oh well, win some and you lose some, I still love my UA bag though, it holds everything I need with room to spare.

I bring everything I would need in case something happened to one of my guns. I bring: ammo for everything I brought that day, slings, magazines for everything, parts/screws for mounts, tools, hearing protection, thigh rig/drop holster, gloves, paddle holsters, cleaning gear and targets. I think that's everything without going into precise detail and keeping it somewhat abridged.

Well I'm pretty sure you're not Larry Potterfield, so this shouldn't violate any vendor requirements. Ok... we'll let it stay. ;)

I had to do a search to see who Larry was. :)

Nope, I'm not Larry. Just thought I would pass along what I thought was a good deal on a nice bag. Thanks for letting it stay.

As for what I have in my bag, I have not finished loading it up yet. But I think weight will be a factor before you run out of room to put stuff. This is a BIG bag. I could easily see 4 pistols and all associated equipment and ammo needed for a long day at the range.

Awesome I might have to get one. You guys have hard cases to put ur pistols in the bag in or do you put them straight in the bag?

The Midway bags come with 2 pistol rugs (soft cases). The bag itself has specific pockets for the pistol rugs. The padding and the nylon are so heavy duty that the pistols will be very well protected. No real need for the extra size and weight from a hard case.
