You get what you pay in the optics world. Now that being said you don't need a a $900 scope on a 22lr. I have two and one has a BSA and one has a weaver. The weaver set me back $200 on ebay a few years ago. You can get them for about $170 now. Do you need a $200 scope on a 22 I don't know. I had it, as it came off of my 223 and was replaced with a Leupold.

There are so many decent low cost brands out there. After looking threw a bunch of them the centerpoint included I would not spend money on the centerpoint, Baraska, and many BSA, Simmons, Tasco scopes.

Spend a decent amount on a good scope once and it will last for ever. If you buy the cheap scopes you wont cry one but every time you have to buy a new one.

I am not a rich man my most expensive scope is $500 and that is the Bushnell elite 4200 6-24x40mm that rides on top of my 308. So my advice is to buy a decent scope and roll with it.
