Hi everyone. I have played around alot with the 19 and 17. However, I find myself in a situation where I am required to cary a 40 or 45 caliber handgun for a job. The requirements are the company standard and if my XD were in one of those, i would cary it, but its in 9mm.

My question to you all is what models should i look at? It needs to be a 3-4 inch barrel. Besides that and the caliber there are no guidelines.

    What do you recommend?

The g22( same size as the 17) full size or g23(same size as the 19) compact are both .40's and the g21 is a full size .45.

Was gonna post exactly what he did. Couldn't have said it better. I would personally consider the G23....shoots great and holds plenty
