Bigdaddy, take a deep breath. And remember, paragraphs are your friend. :p

Before you go buy out the store, truck over to Amazon.com, and find a copy of The ABCs of Reloading. Yes, last year's edition is fine.

Sit down and read it before you buy anything.

Powder will be determined by caliber and by bullet weight. All of the powder companies and bullet makers have load data on line- and you will also need (second purchase) a load manual.

How long brass lasts depends on how much it gets worked in reloading and in firing. The more it gets worked, and the hotter the load, the shorter the brass life.

Basic components- a press, dies, scales, powder, primers, brass and bullets. Beyond that there is a WORLD of goodies- some gotta have, some nice to have.

But FIRST, buy the book- READ the book- and THEN come back with questions. Please note- this is NOT a slam or a put-down in any way- it is serious advice I wish someone had given me before I started.
