Hello fellow mini owners I hAve a 581 And plan on putting it in a tapco stock. I was wandering if I use a weigand rail to mount a optic would it be a tight fit between the rail and the stock?

It looks like the Tapco comes with a rail for a scope to mount in the scout position.

Other than that I think you would need taller scope rings to mount in the standard position.

Yeah I plan on using the weigand rail so I can look through the scope while properly holding the gun the rail that comes on the tapco stock is way past the dove tail and I need something a but closer I intend to mount the Nikon p223
