WFAA/CNN) – Long range shooting just got a whole lot easier. A Texas company has developed what's believed to be the world's first smart rifle. The weapon calculates almost every variable, even clocking moving targets up to ten MPH. Using a fighter jet's target locking system, a shooter sets a tag, matches up the crosshairs and fires. The cost for the base model is just over $22,000. Not everyone is excited about the new gun technology. One gun victims advocate group calls the rifle a threat to safety.
