i think i may have one. i was shooting riverrrat's challenge today, and i feel it went pretty well overall. my shooting off a bench is decent.....

however, i really haven't got much chance to shoot offhand with my mini in quite some time. i imagine i suck pretty bad without that good old bench there to steady me.....

so....what about an off hand shooting challenge? just standing with no bench help and plugging targets?

can't say i have any details worked out....but it think i need the practice personally.

i was thinking maybe common objects like cans and gallon milk jugs at distances of 25, 50 and 100 yards. perhaps so many shots and so many points for hits at each distance....all would be shooter honesty of course and we could choose a "challenge beating" score....

    damn....sounds fun....

    what say you???? :D

do you have a mini? :) if so, try out riverrat's challenge....

but yeah....i run into the same problem....i have some family with some land, but i really only see them 1-2 times a year because of the distance...

i have another friend who has a great shooting spot bit over an hour from me....but he never wants to shoot anymore....:(

got in trouble (well, just a little) at one range for bringing apples to shoot.....booo

shooting things that hop around or explode....just so much more fun than little holes in paper....:D

damn, i would like to see that....other than plinking around, i have never tested my mini's accuracy beyond 100 yards.
