What better to do at 7am on a July 4th morning than to go out and shoot $hit? So that's what I did.
I've had the Mark II for several months and not done anything with it as I was eyeballing different scopes. Kind of questioned getting it all after all the other 22LR's I've already got and it was $530. But I grabbed it anyway because I'm a sucker for a sexy bang stick (and I didn't ask my wife's permission). I'm pretty happy that I did get it now though. It shoots great. I just slapped a cheap Barska scope on and headed to the range.
It's got the accu-trigger which I'm not a huge fan of and the pull is a bit heavier than I really like. Over all though, it's nothing I can't live with.

Nice rifle and even better range report. I'm impressed. Enjoy that .22.

The trigger is adjustable. You should have gotten a tool for it with the rifle.

I'll have to dig back into the box and see what I can find.

I have one that I love! Mine came in a light brown stock was a special order for Dicks I think. I have the BSA sweet 22 on it, have had good luck out of the BSA scopes over the years at least for the value.
The Savage along with the Ruger MKII are my SHTF weapons along with the Rossi 410 lever shotgun.

Ive got the same rifle its a solid shooter. Mine seems to like the mini mags more than yours though.

He was too excited to notice. He probably tore into it like a kid at Christmas and never noticed. :) At least that's what I did the last time I got a new gun.

    Nice shooting, courtjester.

Yup..That's the great selling point for the Accu-Trigger. The pull on the non Accu-TRigger models the trigger is not all that good. I have that model rifle with the other trigger in it. It' shoots OK but the pull is a bit gritty and heavy on the pull.
