Well, that has to suck for all the anti OC'ers on here.:D Even the folks that follow the douches at MSNBC are for OC.

Very difficult to keep Freedom squelched.

I didn't read anything about OC. Just in public.

I have nothing against open carry. I just don't do it myself. I think if it is done tastefully it is a good thing. When I say tastefully, I am not talking about walking through WallyWorld with an AR across your back.

    My thought exactly ....

88% of MSNBC pukes are for carrying in public... Yet... 74% of FTF'rs can't seem to extracate their cranium from their rectums long enough to stop bashing a perfect legal activity?

Conservatives truly are the BIGGEST SISSIES on the block.

If OC is the law then fine, do it if you want. But I will always prefer CC. I have a list of reasons why.

But don't you want to be a tactical, high speed low drag WalMart ninja?

I'm all for open carry. I'm against grandstand carrying, and trying to bait and entrap police and businesses into having to make stupid knee-jerk reactions that set the responsible gun crowd back.

Is... "Chicken Doo Doo" #1 on your list? :D

Kidding DH... I respect your "privilege" to CC... Especially when you don't denigrate my "right" to OC. ;)

Tack, I'm not against OC but the poll was for "carrying in public"
not just OC. Anytime you leave your residence or property and carry
a weapon, you are carrying in public whether it's OC or CC. Just
saying. The poll is not clear as usual. IMO.

I prefer CC as well but don't want to see the option to OC go away.

Agreed... I didn't read it as an endorsement of OC... And I'm not one to visit Wally World with my AR.

I am one who predominantly CC's but also does not hesitate to remove my cover garment... Or just straight OC, if I feel the situation warrants it.

I've no problem with CCers who don't OC... I've just no patients for the ones who lack the nads to OC and justify their cowardice by bashing it and using the Chipotle retard due to accomplish it.

When I do OC, it's either a very nice Kimber in a rig that any Texan would be proud to call a BBQ gun... Or it's a lovely S&W 629 .44 Mag...and I always go with he dress code and mannerism to "make" allies.

i simply don't believe that 88% of americans support carry of firearms any more than i believe the 80% (or whatever stat spewed) by obama & co that americans support universal background checks or other forms of gun control.

you can't get 80% or more of americans on anything imo (except maybe a pay raise). i expect the truth, like most controversial subjects, is much closer to 50/50.

Um.... No... Those are straight facts.

CC requires a background check, fingerprinting, fees, and even in "shall issue" states, can be revoked by the government. It is ILLEGAL to carry any concealed firearm without a permit, hence, it IS a privilege.

Where OC is legal, it is legal because there are no laws banning it, unlike CC, therefore, CC IS a privilege which could be revoked "no different than a license to operate a motor vehicle... and OC is a RIGHT.

In some states, carry of either kind requires a permit.
