My dad returned my borrowed AR today as their hog hunting trip got canceled until later next week due to all the upcoming Texas rain and he didnt want it sitting around not in a safe since his is jammed full with his stuff and he brought me this tonight , said he has had it for 4-5 yrs and never used it it wouldnt fit on his shotgun so he gave it to me . Its a little diferent than the new ones out , its got a flat black rough coating on it and every single piece of the housing is metal including the knobs with the exception of the glass of course .Its not as smooth looking as the new ones . 4 reticles and super bright past 6 its really too much . Im not gonna complain for free its a fine unit , I took my scope off and tossed it on behind my flip up rear as I didnt want to take it off so its sitting back a bit far and I just wanted to see what it looks like . its a big unit but pretty amazing how the outer frame around the glass disappears when you look thru it with both eyes open .
Im going to use this on my next build 11.5 SBR once the paper work gets done until I can afford something better , the new build and paperwork is getting expensive. especially since this one is the 3rd since Dec
    . Thanks Dad !!!

one thing I found amusing about the adjustments is the up / down , right / left are backwards

The adjustments may be labeled for "bullet impact"...or are you saying it's opposite of impact?

    Cool sight either way...

Thats how most scopes work don't they? Every one of mine (ACOG, EOTECH, Leupold, Aimpoint, cheapy stuff like Tasco) the scope adjustments pertains to bullet impact (POI). So if bullet impact is low of bullseye you would turn the screw 'UP' according to the direction indicated.

Up and right are counter clock wise, down and left are clock wise.

Its not normal like a scope , I would have to mess with it again to double check but it was shooting low so I clicked towards the up arrow and it moved the reticle up making it shoot even lower . You only make that mistake once ;)

The arrows move the dot. So if the dot moves up POI moves down. I have never seen that before.

I have dedicated it to my AR to shoot .22lr with as it is way off from my scope and irons 5" to the right so I pop off the QR scope rings and pop this thing on . Now I dont have to worry about it switching from .223 to .22lr
