I just purchased this nice G21 .45 ACP.

This weekend I'll be taking it out and giving it a workout.

Oh man the G-21 is a fantastic piece. I love mine. They are as fine a shooting .45 as is out there.

I am anxious to run some 230 grain through it.

I've been fiddling around with it, and I must say that I am impressed with the fit and finish of this piece.

I'm now debating if I should save up to get the .50 GI kit that you can buy for the G21.

    :D

I wouldn't waist my money or my time with the .50 GI kit. It is a sorry round.

    Really?

    What's wrong with it?

I'll stay away, but I'm wondering if you can post the reasons for all the viewers out there.

Damn bro - when you got here didn't you have like 2 firearms? You have your own little arsenal going now. I knew I liked you for a reason. :)

I wouldn't recommend the 50 GI in a Glock frame either bro. There have been stories, probably from haters, of big time kabooms because of the chamber pressures. Compare the kit you are going to get for the Glock, and then take a look at how much real estate is on a built from the ground up Guncrafter Industries puts into a pistol in the same cartridge.

It's a hell of a round, something like 300 grains of bullet at 700 feet per second. It will definitely put you on your butt if you get hit with it, but in a polymer frame. I don't know from personal experience, but I, personally, would be hesitant....

    lol

I'm trying to get something in each of the popular cartriges.

    I have a 9mm, a 40 S&W, a 45 ACP, and a .22LR.

Now I need a .357, a .44 Mag, and a .454 (popular in my area). I am looking towards getting some revolvers now.

....or I may get more semi-autos........we'll see. I say buy them while you still can....support the economy......:D

    Good for you! ...congrats!
Bud's Gun Shop have a nice sale in a .357 Taurus 66... In here the Taurus revolvers rules, they are very popular, and the best bang for the buck... reliable, longlasting, you can find many accesories (are compatible with most S&W).
