HI folks

Joined up the other day and wanted to introduce myself .

I am 45 and started shooting at about 6 with my brother and his old Glenfield model 60 semiauto 22 rimfire .

The first time shooting handguns came at 13 with a sisters boyfriend who was a local LEO , started out with a S&W 19 4 incher and was then honored to shoot one of the greatest customized 1911's to ever exist , a full blown Pachmyr customized Colt Combat Commander .

The first gun I owned was a Ruger 10/22 at 18 , and then built from there with a Marlin 336 30-30 and a Mossberg 500 and eventually a S&W 586 and my own Colt Combat Commander less the fantastic customizing job LOL .

I even had a spat of Black Powder interest at about 19 before I could own a "Real" handgun and built a 44 cal revolver from a kit .

I started reloading at 22 and am still plugging away for my pistols in 38/357 , 45 ACP and 40 S&W , never seem to get around to rifle calibers .

My love is shooting handguns as I view rifles and shotguns more as hunting weapons . I have been known to spend an afternoon killing clay pigeons though even if it is with an old Mossberg pump 12 .
