The New Hampshire House of Representatives passed HB330 with a vote of 244 - 109. It's on its way to the Senate right now.
It's a "Constitutional Carry" bill, allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons without a permit.

The Senate introduced SB88, which is a "stand your ground" bill. It goes into committee on Thursday, the 31st.

Good job, New Hampshire! Taking "Live Free or Die" seriously!

That would add another state to the list of those that already allow Constitutional Carry....Alaska, Arizona, Vermont and now Wyoming, whose law goes into effect 1 July 11.

You confused me with the title to the thread: "New Hampshire House votes to make permits mandatory". Apparently, NH wants to nuke the permit issue entirely? Good!

Vermont was my first option, but now New Hampshire might be #1. No sales tax AND no permits? Unheard of in Taxachusetts.

Yeah, took me a minute to noodle that one through as well. I thought that permits would be mandatory, not that NH would remove the need for a permit at all making New Hampshire one of the unrestricted carry states.
