I really like my Esmeralda's but they are smooth and I wanted just a bit more purchase (plus I am always afraid I will ding the Esmeralda's up when I carry) - so got a pair of VZ Pro Slims in black cherry....
Let me know what you think (but I like them).

Here's one with the Esmeraldas - they are purdier for sure
