Hey everyone. I've been on here for a couple weeks now and I've really enjoyed the forum. Anyway, I'm from Pueblo, Co. Your typical outdoorsman/gun enthusiast.

Welcome to the forum!
Sorry about Colorado's change! The issue is they have had too many Yuppie, Hippie, Liberals move into the state over the last few years who as in Washington are in the wrong positions at the present. So obviously they are falling in line with the attack on our Second Amendment Rights. Good News is, there are still Great American States out there and Great Americans everywhere that are not buying their BS.
But glad to have you with us on the Forum and looking forward to hearing from you. A lot of great people here! "Enjoy!"

Thanks Sniper03. I agree, we've had a lot of contamination from the blue states. We've also had a lot of money influence our local politics for the benefit of the current national agenda, if you know what I mean. I love my state but I've had about enough of its liberal mindlessness. Anyway, thanks for the welcome, it's great to be here!

Welcome to the forum. I left Colorado Springs in 2004 saying Colorado was becoming the next Kommiefornia. I hate it because it is a beautiful state but the politics have to go!!!!!

Welcome to the forum.
I left Calirado back in '81. Was getting way to left then.
Moved to Az. where open carry was the norm.
I'm sorry to see what's going on there now, hope you can hang on and bring some sense to the state.

Will try my best. It's become the norm for anti-gun senators to cancel/reschedule town halls at the last minute to avoid the heat. I've sent several emails to many of them but I'm sure they go unread. My company has a terminal in Amarillo that I may have to look into. Did/do y'all hunt elk in Co?

No. I've actually never hunted! More into handgunning.
Now I'm too old to worry about stalking or sitting in a treestand.
Too many young guy's with way too much venison and hog meat to get rid of around here. ;)

Funny thing about CO is that if we ever get to the point that Texas actually secedes, you know for a fact that most of the states around CO will secede right along with it. That'll leave it an island.

Welcome to FTF and I'm sorry for your impending loss of freedoms...

I never did. Use to be an avid hunter but do very little anymore. I know a lot of people that do and everyone of them should boycott if this passes!!!!

Everybody's dancing around the cause of CO's distressful situation. It is the direct result of Californicators bailing from their self-imposed socialist state of affairs. I'm starting to see more and more CA license plates showing up here in Florida and it scares the hell out of me. We're already under siege from the Communist North, and latino leftists from the south. I work with alot of latinos from Cuba, Nicaraugua, and Venezuela, and they all say the same thing. The words falling out of BHO"s maw is something they've heard before, only in spanish.

There used to be a big sign on I-5 at the CA-OR border, that said "Don't Californicate Oregon". Guess it's gone now.

Y.o sc00ts, welcome, I spent the summer of 1976 in Pueblo with my late uncle and aunt. I'm sure it was waaaaay different back then, but my brother and I had an awesome summer toolin' around CO. We had an uncle and aunt out in Beulah too. I was 16 and my bro was 18. Those days spawned some of my finest teenage memories.

Welcome to FTF

Welcome from Georgia. Glad you found us. Enjoy. Only time I was even in CO was way back I spent 5 months at Lowry AFB for munitions school in old WW2 open bay barracks. Had a great time. Beautiful state what I saw of it.

Yeah, sc00ts, welcome.

btw, there IS colorado subforum in the states area... check it out.

If the UBC item law passes, it's time to move for me. It may take a year or so, but I'm looking elsewhere. And it p*sses me off , because I love the state.

again, welcome .

Welp...where are we headed pnolans?

The senate majority leader John Morse (D) came out today and said basically, "we've gotten thousands of emails, don't read more than you have to, it'll damage you psyche."

Does that tell you what we're up against here?

Welcome! I just joined also.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry the way things are going there. It's sad. God forbid anyone uses logic in the legislature there or listens to their constituents. The quote you put up demonstrates they think they are superior in intellect and only certain people are worth their time. Surely people can see this...but alas...some people will never admit a choice they made was wrong, nor will they allow themselves to look at something objectively.

Good luck!
