Hello everyone. I am new to the site and wanted to say hello. I am looking to learn about/purchase a firearm for home defense. I have never owned a personal gun for personal protecton. But since getting married and having a son I feel the need for home protection.

Its pretty sad state of affairs when you dont really want to get a gun. But being a victim is not an option. I pretty much think I can sleep well at night knowing I protected my family if someone tried me.

While there is that somber defense reason, shooting is also just plain fun...

I agree. I only started on my "Pistol Craze" after my girl was born. I know where he is coming from.
