I think they need some type of bullpup or other rifle. That would be cool.

The Glock 7....You know what that is? It’s a porcelain gun made in Germany. Doesn’t show up on your airport X-ray machines, and it cost more than you make in a month.”

They supposedly did design a rifle system for military trials in the EU, but I never heard what became of it... Guess it never left the drawing board?

They also designed an antipersonnel hand grenade, a very good combat/field knife, and a very good entrenching tool.

A handgun popularized by the movie "Die Hard 2: Die Harder". Made in Germany, this firearm is constructed entirely of porcelain, is capable of passing through airport metal detectors completely unnoticed. The only downside to this amazing weapon is the price, which is quite expensive. The real MSRP is unknown, but experts say that they cost more than the Dulles International Airport Police Chief makes in a month.

This is not to be confused with the Austrian made 9mm Glock 17, or any other Glock handgun, which are constructed of both steel and polymer, and would quite easily set off an airport metal detector. Retail price on any other Glock firearm is most likely much less than what the Dulles International Airport Police Chief makes in a month. Most Glocks range in price from $400-$600 USD.

I bought one of the Knifes and for 23 bucks it is awesome!!!!!!!

And a 5.7 would be awesome. A FN 5.7 is my next handgun.

I wonder how far away are handheld laser weapon, a glock that will burn you or a glock that shoot emp pulses at you. A glock that operate only for it's owner and the battery be in the mag base plate, using magnets and coils to push a safey off and when the mag/power is gone a spring pushes it back. Idk me and my imagination

I'm no expert, mind you, but I think we've seen all the "innovation" Gaston Glock has to offer.
Not a gunmaker originally, he only designed the Glock auto pistol for military trials in hopes of winning a fat contract and saving his nearly bankrupt business (he manufactured windmills if I remember correctly...)

The gun itself was designed by an engineer, not a gunsmith, hence the drastically different looks and features. (supposedly Gaston had little prior gun knowledge...) but with the ability to simply scale the parts to make different calibers/frame sizes, and rock-solid internals and operation, I'd say there's not much TO do in the way of innovation. In four generations, all that's been added is a light rail, grip texture changes, slide serration changes (rtf models) recoil spring upgrades, and interchangeable back straps, the credit for which goes to S&W...

The real innovators to go beyond the Glock won't be Glock, it will be everyone competing with Glock. The S&W M&P series proved that, and the Springfield XD series added fuel to the fire.

I really think Glock could have really cornered the market with a PDW similar in fashion to the Kriss Vector... But who knows. I'd take an 18c with a 33rnd stick over a vector 7/10 times anyway...

I'd love to see a 15rd .45 acp double stack poly 1911 glock... with integral feed ramp. Now that's a 1911 I'd buy.

I wouldn't mind a high capacity "stick" mag for the .45 acp...
