My new best friend.
Shoots like a dream. I'm in love. Colt Wiley Clapp Commander.
Very nice. I own one of its brothers. I have had it for a few years and probably about 1,500 trouble free rounds. Now let's race and see who can grab the Gov't model first!
I think my next ones will be the Ruger models. I had originally planned on getting the Rugers first but couldn't pass up the Colt.
The Colt is the best of the 1911 pistols.
Well, I am not sure about that. But they are pretty good.
Does yours have the front slide serrations? Mine doesn't. Maybe they stopped putting them on this model.
Yes it does. But I think it looks better without them anyway. I have front serratins on 2 1911s. Doesn't bother me or thrill me. If it is a good gun I am happy.
Yeah I hear ya. I don't mind either way. It's a great gun with or without.
I am just shocked you found a new Colt at a gun shop!
Beautiful gun, congrats
Thanks man. They had to order it. They do have other Colt 1911's for sale.
Nice choice, my WC Commander has the FCS.
Thanks. Nice collection you got there. Do you have every model or are the all commanders?
One of each WC model! :woohoo:
Just need to win the powerball so I can buy a WC SAA.
Dang brother. I envy you! I've been looking at the WC II GP100.
Also, do you like your VZ grips better than the stocks grips?
I am a VZ fan boy, so yes I do like them better.
The current state of my WC CCO. VZ ETC'S in MARSOC green.
Some better pictures.
For Christmas my best buddy gave me a Colt Government Model, blue and a really neat shooter, now i can retire my WWII 1911 a1 from everyday plinking. Colt's are still awesome pistols.
