    Bought my first SKS today , chinese tho and all matching number and no scratches thank god , and 150 rounds for 275$ good deal? Either way it's mine

    Is there any additions you think I should make suck as new carbon fiber stock ? Flashlight , and any other suggestions ?

    Sounds like you already know what you won't lol. A good sight or scope maybe depending on what you won't to do with it.

    It's probably going to be my new SHTF,NSIG gun and i might leave it how it is , do you own a SKS if so do you know what the "button" or "hole" in the stock is for ?

    Most have a hole for attaching a sling swivel hope I've helped

    No it's in the stock like on the but plate and I can fit my middle finger in it

    No I just looked it up it's where a spare firing pin , and cleaning kit went

    That's what I was about to say I wasn't sure if yours was the same. I about bought one from my Unckle that also had all matching numbers even
    The bayonet. It even had the cleaning kit in it

    The cleaning kit is the only thing missing and I'm going to order one tonight

    I just recently paid 325 for one without a bayonet or cleaning kit. It too is Chinese. I prefer it that way. I would prefer Russian for the sake of being a classic sks but the Chinese is shorter than the Yugo making it more maneuverable and chrome lined which was a must to me...

    Yeah mine had a bayonet but then I figured out I can't have one on it so I took it off but if SHTF I'm putting it back on and mine is a paratrooper model which makes it shorter than the regular model , ive been practicing with my. Stripper clips from my russian one and the work fine and I so far I like it better just saying and mine is also chrome lined. And cleaning kits are only 9.99 where I saw them and to field strip it it only take a round.
