Picked up a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm, this is a very sweet gun. I know it's not a 45 and it's not full size but I had to have it. So far 300 rounds and not an issue!

    Love it!!!!!!

I know but I still love my glocks, however, the 1911 has my attention right now big time! Also looking at the browning high power!!!!

Why don't you drive across Alligator Alley and find out how great JMB handguns can be!

Ah yes, another fine handgun with John M Browning genes!

    SWEET....
I have one myself (DW Guardian 9mm) & it has been flawless. Also, I have a Browning Hi Power on layaway at LGS - incoming in about 2-3 weeks.
    Great choices!!!!

Without question, to me the 1911 design is the best looking, most functional style handgun on the market..while I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 9mm, I don't think I'd want to get anything smaller than that..and as you suggest, the "real" 1911 is the .45..some day I'll own one.. meanwhile I'm happy with my two 9mm's..

Ok, finally got the Browning HP I've been wanting, haven't fired it yet but heading to the range this week.
    What a great gun!

    Happy New Year!

Cane every time you post a pic of a 1911 it's never the same. Exactly how many of those things do you have?
