I'm looking for a decent condition receiver for an M1903 Springfield, high serial number (dual heat treated). Does anyone know of anyone that might know somebody that has a cousin that wants to get rid of one??????? I'm scanning the auction sites (gunbroker, etc) with no luck so far.

You might also look for a bubba'd sporter for sale cheap,and use the action off it.

I saw an ad for Springfield A3 and A4 barreled receivers in shotgun news. Ill check when I get home
