I've been googling for a while now, and I keep coming up with the same consistent bank of information...it just so happens to not be what im looking for.
Im trying to compare sustained rate of fire and practical rate of fire for various different rifles & handguns.
The idea is that a lot of these gun hating lobbyists are comparing apples to oranges when talking about the "rate of fire" in something like an AR15.
An example of what I mean if I was on eof them trying to prove that handguns are more dangerous:
A Glock-18 has a rate of fire of around 1,200 rounds per minute, vs that of an AR15 that comes in about 800.
If im playing their game, then I neglect to inform the audience that the Glock 18 is a full auto pistol, vs a semi auto rifle, and I also leave out the fact that sustained is only a theoretical measurement...in order to accurately compare, one must use practical.
I figure the basics will do - so AR15, Ak47, Glock 17, 1911, etc.
Standard, too, I know some modifications could probably be made to increase the rate of fire, but for arguments sake, im trying to keep all variables the same.
