Does any one know if the Sccy cpx 1 9mm is worth buying

Well I know this isn't good:

"Sccy CPX-1 has a history of broken guide rods, firing pins, recoil springs, mis sized chambers and cracked slides due to early quality control issues. Even in the latest production models of the CPX-1 the ambidextrous safety will often engage during firing leaving the gun inoperable."

NO cpx-1. If you need a sccy firearm the cpx-2 has been greatly improved design but you will need to still prove that its reliable. OR buy the kt p-11. ain't as prudy but tend to work well for a 250 dollar pistol. Nickel slide a little more.

I like to wait a couple years after a new firearm is presented.
If it is fades away, then it wasn't that good.
If it stays around, then it can't be that bad.

SCCY is a off shoot of Kel Tech, correct. Bunch of ex employees got together and formed SCCY. Lots of folks like Ket Tech, personally I don't care for them.

I would like to thank you all for the help. I think I will pass on this one. And go back to looking at glock, ruger, Beretta, and Springfield.
