I got a buddy looking at purchasing a mint Ruger P95 9mm with a few high capacity mags for 400. Is this a reasonable price? The gun has about 100 rounds through it max and is being sold by a gun smith. From other sites tho I want some opinions. It's stainless steel also.

You can buy these used all day long for < $300 in my area. I've seen a number of them for $250-$275. They're good solid guns but nothing special...

Even stainless I've seen here in CO for around $300. Save the cash.

I like Ruger P series, I learnt on one of them. My gun club use to have them as rental guns and to be used by newbies who were taking classes and they held up well.

I do agree with the other members about price. Maybe you can try to lower it a bit.

I bought a brand new P95 in the box about a year ago from "A Pawn" in Grand Junction, CO for well under $300. I believe is was around $265 or $285. It came with 2 mags. Great gun for the money.

I asked as,bout the number of mags because that might have made the deal not as bad. They run around 30 bucks for around 25.00 pc. at cdnn. So, if ya got 4-5 mags that might not be so bad. but if that's not the case then some haggling might be needed.

See if you can get him down some. It's a fact that the Ruger P series have a solid reputation for being reliable. If it has extra mags that makes it worth more.

Already been expressed.....good pistol price seems high depending on the number of Mags included might make a dfference.

Gun includes 2 high cap mags and a case. Gun looks brand new. It's also a p95dc if that makes a difference

The dc is for decocker and is standard I believe. Same goes with the two mags. Nothing special, I think $400 is a bit much, bet you can find it for $300.

    I miss my P95DC.
Paid 300 for it maybe 10 years ago.
That was back when there were only those silly 10 round mags available.

:)I bought one last year and I payed 300 for it and it came in the origanal box with extra mags and it showed very little wear so I would say yours was a little pricey

You can get that weapon cheaper than that used. Might want to see if they will do down some.
