    Parneli,

    How about some pictures of her! To me that has a lot to do with picking a proper name!
    What is her temperament?

    Our oldest son, at the time a Sgt. in the Corps, named his dog Semper Fido.

    Sniper03 you've got a good point there.
    although I'm not sure most people are even aware that they use some of these key points.

    I believe there are few common key point used in the way people name their dog and other animals.

    4, The breed
    3, it's size
    2, it's behavioral character
    1, animals appearance

    My male German Shepherd is my best friend he is a retired Marine
    obedient loyal and goes almost everywhere with me.

    Most all of my dogs ended with the 'ee' sound.

    Annie, Ruffie, Bunkie, Sammie, Goldie.... They seem to love that sound. or maybe I did.

    I had a female mini Daschund I named after my Mom's Aunt. Her name was Frederica, but we just called her Freddie. It was a good dog name IMO. Got a little Germanic background too.

    Parnelli,

    Since we have no pictures and she is a German Shepherd!
    One might want to consider some German Female names.
    Without seeing a picture *I will span the gap with a few good German lady names.
    But still would like to see the pictures! To me when you select a pup it is almost a spiritual experience.
    When I selected Baby Girl (Pictured) or should I say *When she selected us! it was exactly that. I had the breeder let two litters of yellow lab pups loose in the reviewing room. Long story short, Baby went to my wife who held her and then put her down. And as it was meant to be she then came right to me and wanted me to pick her up. While other pups stopped and I petted them while I sat in the chair. None exhibited the same bonding as Baby. So I picked her up not knowing what gender she was and there it was evident! A little female. One might say love at first sight on her part. So I think that the selection of a name for a treasured pet that will be loyal for it's lifetime is also of the up most importance. So here is a few German names that may touch on the personality of your pup!

    Mady = Maiden
    Mala = Battle Maiden
    Minda = Love
