looking for outside input on the membership fees for my rod and gun club we are very active fishing derbys and shooting comps etc we offer a 100 yard pistol range, 200 yard rifle range, indoor .22 pistol range,3d archery range and woods walk, 2 skeet and trap ranges, stocked lake, black powder area with edged weapons walk and walkthrough shooting range, indoor archery area,we stock pheasants during hunting season and have over 200 acres of huntable woods we charge $185 to join with $100 refunded if you help with a scheduled event and then its $50 a year after that Oh I forgot we also have a small soon to expand gun shop and possible future gunsmith on site and last but not least a bar.
Depends on the activity. Most of our scheduled events involving prizes have a $10 entry fee to offset some of the cost.
yeah. i would love to have woods walks, and a gunshop on site. make sure to help with an event and get a little money back.. after the first fee. its very reasonable. i pay 60 a year. and mine is not near as big. only 70 acres of hunting land and 2 small ponds.
$50 per year per person I assume. For just me, your rates sound quite reasonable. Do you offer a rate for families? Say like $100 or $125 per year, per family. With a wife & 2 or more kids old enough to bring along, it could get pricey in a hurry, especially if you count multiple initiation fees. If not, you might want to consider it.
That's Ma. for ya...home of baked beans, clam 'chowda' and alcoholism... Of course you can always fish drunk...somewhat safely...
Definitely sounds reasonable. MY local gun shop / pawn shop / indoor range charges 200/yr every year to just use the nice side of the range with the programable distance panel you just punch how many feet you want the target to goto ...... and it's a little better ventillated. So basically you pay 200 to not choke on lead and gunpowder < the 10$ entry side has box fans in it :/ > and have the targets go out by themselves < as opposed to the ol flip the switch and targets move but half the time the gears on that dont work and you gotta sling the line out by hand for the motor to catch. > So yes a RESOUNDING yes your deal sounds much better
