Need Info on Old Musket

    I got this today and found out a little but was wondering if anyone recognized this or could shed some light on a time period or purpose. The name on this is Gilsenti Brescia and can be faintly seen in the one picture of the side plate. Most of the screws have a number 16 on them. It is missing the ram rod and the dealer said he felt it may have been cut. I am not convinced this is the case as it is very proportional. Thanks in advance!

    Billy, we need better pictures. Beyond the fact that Brescia is Italian, as is the firm Glisenti (not Gilsenti) don't really have anything for you.
