Hmmmm. That safety looks familiar. So does the magazine in front of the trigger
guard. I'm pretty sure it's a 6.5 Carcano that someone has put a set trigger
setup on.
The Carcano's main claim to fame is that one was used in
Dallas Texas in the early 60's.
Carcano's came in 6.5 and 7.35mm, and used a clip which held 5 rounds and fell
out the bottom when empty.
If you want to try making a gunstock, or doing some creative gunsmithing or
re-finishing, go for it. You won't diminish the value---it really doesn't have any.
