I got a dpms AR-10 308 today it's the orical with forward assist and dust cover. I have a few questions
First off
Why have a forward assist and not have notches on the bolt? The forward assist is pointless
Second of all how and where can I replace furniture on it like new stock new grip and a new forearm

Anyone I want a long free float handgaurd but not sure what I need or where to get

Checkout midway, joeboboutfitters, cheaperthan dirt etc, they make a two piece free float quad rail that is very easy to change. To change the stock is easy, you may need to change the buffer tube

Just noticed you already have a 6 position stock. It is easy to put another 6 pos stock on

Thanks guys but the rings that hold my hand gaurd on now will be in the way I want at least double the length of this handgaurd

From the looks then you're going to need to break the upper down, take the gas block and barrel off to take the delta ring off
