Looks like a 191 Design to me?

Hello all/Responce to pl

Ron L here = SERESURPLUS

Yes, ooks like a 1911A1 deswign to me, Not sure but symbol on slide in Photo might be "Springfield Armory? Not sure what model Number, but Novac Looking rear site makes it not a normal GI clone, probably one of the More enhanced models? Perhaps someone else might recognize the Model from sites and appreance?

It's made by Springfield Armory. IIRC the Operator came into the product
line sometime after the TRP. Very much a 1911A1 style pistol.

The full length rail is a bit different--not sure if it's an older model, an option
or what. That might explain the 2 in the model designation.

+1. Bill nailed it. Springfield released the TRP line a few years ago and they have done really well with it. If you end up getting it, post some pics, a write up, and some range time after action if you wouldn't mind.

I had one of those a few years back. There was a "loaded" Operator model that had the full length rail, and there was a TRP model that had the full length rail, bull barrel, mag funnel, and adjustable night sights. The "loaded" Operator model sold for around $750 if I remember right. Sweet shooters with little muzzle flip.
