Is the savage stevens 320 a good shotgun? gander mountain has them for 230$ and my dad and I were thinking about getting one. I also saw that they had a savage stevens 350 for 250 and an h&r pardner pump for 200. What do you guys think of these shotguns? I would get a maverick 88 or mossberg 500 but at all the places I see them they are overpriced or out of stock.

Based on what you said about price, the Savage Stevens is perfect for you. They are a general starter shotgun with a shorter life than a 2000.00 over/under, but it sounds like you don't plan to shoot 500 rounds per month. Go for it. Shoot about 50 rounds through it to break it in and then clean it and see how you feel. I think you will be happy.

I own and use the Savage 320 weekly and I love it, after a short break in period the thing is very smooth and makes one hell of a bang!

I have the tactical stock, barrel shroud, 5 shell butt cuff, a good L.E.D night light / laser sight combo and a good sling, the 320 will rock some ones world for sure with the 50 Cal load.

It is a tough little blaster for sure, my next up grade is going to be a better recoil pad and that's about it.
    I give the Stevens 320, Win-870 and Mossberg 500 all A's.

I've had my shotgun for about a month and shot over 100+ rounds and love it. No problems yet
