I am going to be reloading .308 with 147 gr. FMJBT and am having trouble finding reliable data on powder charge. I will be using Accurate 2460 as of now but may change powders if this does not work out.
The problem is all the reloading data I can find is for 150 gr. and not 147 gr. My thought is to use the data for 150 but cut it by 1 gr. to start with sense i will be shooting a little lighter bullet. Example, Accurate says the 2460 powder can be loaded from 40.5 gr.'s to 45 gr.'s for a 150 gr. bullet. I will start in the middle but will drop 1 gr of powder. Is this OK? Or does anyone have good reloading data for the 147 gr bullet using Accurate 2460 powder?
