Can anyone tell me where I can locate a screw like the one pictured
If you have an old fashioned hardware store near you, bring it in their and I bet they can match it. Not one of those big box stores but a "real" hardware store.
Those are hard to find, a real hardware store...,.
What stock did it come out of ?
Find out what weapon it came out of and look at Numrich Arms/Gun Parts on the Internet.
They have an abundance of original parts most of the time. Also as a last resort if you have a Lowe's or Menards close they have screws that may be similar in the bolt, screws section usually in individual metal door trays.
It's going to fit a pistol grip for an H&R Trapdoor.
Cool. You should have no trouble finding it here. I'd love pics I'm a fan as most of them were made about 15 minutes away from me.
I going to make another pistol grip for my H&R Officers Model 1873 .44-70 and am looking for a 2" screw that will fit the existing screw hole.
You can either order one that works off numrich or as the other guys said find a real hardware store. It looks like numrich might have pistol grips for it.
Yes they do but screws are out of stock.
Try Dixie gun works they may have them.
