I traded in my iPad and I am looking for a new hardcore, protective case for my iPad2. I have been doing some research & so far I have found offerings from the following companies that have good reviews:

Otterbox - Had one of these on my iPad1 and it was great, but kind of chunky.

Phillips Padded Easel

Trident Aegis Case

Trident Kraken

Gumdrop Series Cases

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these or if you have an awesome case that I haven't seen yet. I have a Rokform case for my phone that I absolutely love, but their ipad cases suck. I am looking for the best of the best here as I will be traveling a lot more with my new job and the iPad will need to go everywhere I do.

Pictures or hands on reports would be greatly appreciated.

Had one of those on my ipad and while it does add some weight drop it on concrete and it will be OK. Plus you fold the cover around and it makes a kick stand.

Okay, first off thanks for the video links! Awesome!

I had looked at the G-form and said "it looks like hell, but I bet it works great". I was wanting a hard case, but that first video made a glaring point. The hard case is great for backpack or plane activities, but if you ever really drop it, you are royally boned.

A flat surface impact is what I fear the most, so I I think I will be getting both the Speck and the G-Form since they appear to play well together.
