40 years ago at shooting galeries at carnivles and state fairs there was this 22short pump action rifle
i am not a rifle person
can someone help on the make and model and
if it is still made or a close facsimillie

Winchester made one. I beleive that there were a couple others as well.

It was called the Gallery Gun. I`m not sure if that name was given to it by the manufacture or if it`s just the comman name given to it by the shooting public.

Winchester Model 62 as well

The Gallery gun was usually a winchester model 62 or 62A. However the standard 62 was chambered for .22 short, long and long rifle. The ones that were sold as gallery guns were chambered in short only.
The Win Model 61 was also a pump action but it did not have the exposed hammer of the 62. Here is a write up on 62's and how to tell them apart.
